Possible causes

– Brake Pedal Position switch harness is open or shorted
– Brake Pedal Position switch circuit poor electrical connection
– Damage brake switch
– Misadjusted brake switch

Tech notes

Check for correct function of the stop lamps, if the stop lamps are not working change the brake switch.
