P0206 GMC Injector 6 Control Circuit

Possible causes
– Faulty fuel injector 6
– Fuel Injector 6 harness is open or shorted
– Fuel injector 6 circuit poor electrical connection
When is the code detected?
If an electrical malfunction occurs in the fuel injector circuit for engine cylinder #6, the ignition feed driver signals the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to set the P0206 code.
Symptoms
– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
– Lack/Loss of Power
– The engine may be harder to start
– Engine hesitation
P0206 GMC Description
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the fuel injectors by using an ignition feed driver and ground circuit within the PCM. The driver has the ability to detect an electrical malfunction in the ignition feed or ground circuit.
