P1754 Coast Clutch Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

Possible causes
– Input Clutch Solenoid Valve is harness is open or shorted
– Input Clutch Solenoid Valve circuit poor electrical connection
– Faulty Input clutch solenoid valve
Symptoms
– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
P1754 Description
Input clutch solenoid valve is controlled by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the Park and Neutral (PNP) switch, vehicle speed sensor and accelerator pedal position sensor (throttle position sensor). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position. This is not only caused by electrical malfunction (circuits open or shorted) but also by mechanical malfunction such as control valve sticking, improper solenoid valve operation.
